Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Update

The Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOCIA) presented its final report on the master plan for the Mactan Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA) at the Waterfront Hotel last July 28, 2011, which will serve as a blueprint for the next 30 years. The primary goal of master planning is to provide strategic direction and planning focus for the future development of Mactan-Cebu International Airport. The estimated cost for the Construction of the New Passenger Terminal Building (PTB) is around $180.7 million. The new PTB project is highly recommended to commence in 2011 based on a Public Private Partnership (PPP) Scheme.
